New Perspective

Some paintings begin with a beautiful arrangement.

This one began with a different way of looking.

By placing Australian native flowers and foliage front and centre, I wanted them to almost call out, "Look at me. Notice my form. Notice my texture." The angular banksia leaves, the wonderfully fuzzy flower head and the unexpected colours hidden within the foliage all became the true subjects of the painting. They challenged me to paint in ways that felt unfamiliar, capturing delicate linear forms while still remaining true to my expressive brushwork.

I've always been fascinated by the way beautiful light transforms both ordinary and extraordinary subjects. Combined with an unexpected viewpoint, the light revealed details that are so easily overlooked, reminding me how much beauty surrounds us when we simply pause and look again.

New Perspective became more than a study of Australian botanicals. It reflects my own journey of seeking deeper meaning, asking questions of purpose and learning that sometimes the greatest discoveries come not from changing our surroundings, but from changing the way we see them.

My hope is that this painting encourages you to slow down, notice the extraordinary beauty hidden within the everyday, and perhaps discover a new perspective of your own.

All original artworks are packaged with great care to ensure they arrive safely.

Due to the materiality and scale of the works, original paintings are shipped as finished artworks and are not available rolled.

Local collection is available from Dunsborough, with delivery also available within the Margaret River Region.

Perth metropolitan delivery is available via specialist art courier for $100.

Regional WA and interstate shipping is available, with tracking and insurance. As costs vary depending on the size and destination of the artwork, shipping will be quoted and invoiced separately after purchase.

International shipping is also available by personalised quote and will be invoiced separately after purchase.

Framed works are professionally finished in either a natural Tasmanian oak float frame or an Italian narrow shadow-line box frame, as shown.

Unframed works have finished edges, with the painting continuing around the sides.

Each original artwork is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.
