Moody Blooms

Not every bouquet needs bright sunshine to reveal its beauty. Some flowers seem to come alive in softer light, where deep shadows, gentle contrasts and rich colour create an atmosphere that feels calm, timeless and quietly elegant.

As I painted Moody Blooms, I found myself captivated by the way the light skimmed across each petal, revealing just enough while allowing some of the arrangement to remain hidden in shadow. It was a reminder that beauty isn't always found in what is fully illuminated; sometimes it is the mystery, depth and subtlety that draw us in. I so enjoyed playing with the dark depths of blue tones to create the moody background.

Painted in oils with expressive brushwork, Moody Blooms celebrates the quiet drama of light and shadow, inviting the viewer to slow down and appreciate the richness found in life's gentler moments.

All original artworks are packaged with great care to ensure they arrive safely.

Due to the materiality and scale of the works, original paintings are shipped as finished artworks and are not available rolled.

Local collection is available from Dunsborough, with delivery also available within the Margaret River Region.

Perth metropolitan delivery is available via specialist art courier for $100.

Regional WA and interstate shipping is available, with tracking and insurance. As costs vary depending on the size and destination of the artwork, shipping will be quoted and invoiced separately after purchase.

International shipping is also available by personalised quote and will be invoiced separately after purchase.

Framed works are professionally finished in either a natural Tasmanian oak float frame or an Italian narrow shadow-line box frame, as shown.

Unframed works have finished edges, with the painting continuing around the sides.

Each original artwork is accompanied by a personally signed certificate of authenticity.
