There is a special kind of peace that belongs only to the early morning. Before the beaches become busy and the wind begins to stir, Dunn Bay rests quietly beneath soft light, its calm waters reflecting the gentle colours of a new day.

As I painted this familiar stretch of coastline, I was drawn to the simplicity of the scene—the subtle shifts in colour across the water, the stillness of the bay and the sense of possibility that each new morning brings. People were already starting to enjoy the calm shallow waters. It is these quieter moments, often overlooked in the rush of daily life, that continue to inspire my work.
