Berries VIII

Scattered blueberries tumble across soft folds of fabric, their deep blues and violet highlights punctuating an otherwise quiet, neutral palette.

For Berries VIII, I wanted to strip the composition back and let the berries themselves become the focus. I loved painting the little variations in each one - the bloom on their skins, tiny reflections of light and those wonderful blue-black shadows - against the softness and movement of the linen.

There is something beautiful about an arrangement that feels slightly undone, as though the berries have simply spilled and come to rest where they may. A small, everyday moment made worthy of a closer look.

All original artworks are packaged with great care to ensure they arrive safely.

Due to the materiality and scale of the works, original paintings are shipped as finished artworks and are not available rolled.

Local collection is available from Dunsborough, with delivery also available within the Margaret River Region.

Perth metropolitan delivery is available via specialist art courier for $100.

Regional WA and interstate shipping is available, with tracking and insurance. As costs vary depending on the size and destination of the artwork, shipping will be quoted and invoiced separately after purchase.

Framed works are professionally finished in either a natural Tasmanian oak float frame or an Italian narrow shadow-line box frame, as shown.

Unframed works have finished edges, with the painting continuing around the sides.

Each original artwork is accompanied by a personally signed certificate of authenticity.
