Berries III

In Berries III, I wanted to push the colour and contrast a little further. A simple bowl filled with blueberries became a study in deep blues, violets and unexpected flashes of pink, set against an almost-black background.

I loved exaggerating what the light revealed in each berry - their dusty bloom giving way to luminous colour - and allowing the brushstrokes to remain visible rather than describing every detail. The rim of the bowl catches that same light, creating a fine circle of reflection around the abundance within.

Part of my evolving Berries & Metal collection, this piece is about looking beyond what we think we see and discovering just how much colour can exist in something seemingly simple.

All original artworks are packaged with great care to ensure they arrive safely.

Due to the materiality and scale of the works, original paintings are shipped as finished artworks and are not available rolled.

Local collection is available from Dunsborough, with delivery also available within the Margaret River Region.

Perth metropolitan delivery is available via specialist art courier for $100.

Regional WA and interstate shipping is available, with tracking and insurance. As costs vary depending on the size and destination of the artwork, shipping will be quoted and invoiced separately after purchase.

International shipping is also available by personalised quote and will be invoiced separately after purchase.

Framed works are professionally finished in either a natural Tasmanian oak float frame or an Italian narrow shadow-line box frame, as shown.

Unframed works have finished edges, with the painting continuing around the sides.

Each original artwork is accompanied by a personally signed certificate of authenticity.
