Berries I

Berries I was where this collection began - a simple handful of blueberries resting inside an oversized silver spoon.

I was drawn to the drama created by such ordinary objects: the luminous blues of the berries against the deep, almost-black background, and the way the metal catches and reflects unexpected warmth, colour and light.

Painting the spoon at this scale allowed me to lose myself in those reflections and in the tiny variations of colour within each berry. What might normally be passed over becomes the entire subject - a little reminder that beauty is often waiting in the everyday, if we take the time to notice it.

All original artworks are packaged with great care to ensure they arrive safely.

Due to the materiality and scale of the works, original paintings are shipped as finished artworks and are not available rolled.

Local collection is available from Dunsborough, with delivery also available within the Margaret River Region.

Perth metropolitan delivery is available via specialist art courier for $100.

Regional WA and interstate shipping is available, with tracking and insurance. As costs vary depending on the size and destination of the artwork, shipping will be quoted and invoiced separately after purchase.

International shipping is also available by personalised quote and will be invoiced separately after purchase.

Framed works are professionally finished in either a natural Tasmanian oak float frame or an Italian narrow shadow-line box frame, as shown.

Unframed works have finished edges, with the painting continuing around the sides.

Each original artwork is accompanied by a personally signed certificate of authenticity.
