From My Easel
There is something comforting about things nestled closely together.
For this painting, I gathered a favourite collection of vessels on my oak table—a generous white jug filled with Australian native flowers, with two smaller vessels tucked closely beside it. I loved the contrast between the softness of the pottery, the reflections in the silver and the wonderfully unruly shapes of the grevilleas and eucalyptus reaching out beyond them.
As always, light played an important part. It caught the edges of the vessels, bounced from the polished silver and illuminated the delicate shapes and unexpected colours within the native foliage. Against the softly painted background, the whole arrangement seemed to settle quietly into its place.
Nestled became a painting about the comfort of closeness—of being gathered together, while still having the freedom to be entirely ourselves.
My hope is that it brings that same feeling into the home where it hangs: warmth, belonging and the quiet reassurance of being surrounded by the things and people we love.

Please allow approximately 7–10 business days for production before dispatch. Delivery times will vary depending on your location.

To ensure your print lasts for generations, display it away from direct sunlight and areas of high humidity. Handle the paper with clean, dry hands or have it framed soon after arrival for the best protection.
Stretched canvases come sealed for protection. If wiping to dust, please do gently with a clean microfibre cloth. -
Every print is made to order especially for you. If your order arrives damaged or there is a problem with your print, please contact me within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the damage so I can arrange a replacement or suitable solution.
