From My Easel
At the end of Dunsborough’s main street, the road seems to lead you almost naturally towards the gently sweeping curve of Geographe Bay.
Dunn Bay is one of those places woven into everyday life here. Dog walkers greet the morning and return to close the day, families gather along the shore, little boats wait on the sand and, if you sit quietly for long enough, you’ll often notice the ripples of sea creatures going about their day.
I painted Dunn Bay Morning on one of those beautiful clear mornings when the bay was calm and the light seemed to make every colour sing. I loved the flashes of colour from the sailing boats against the soft sand and turquoise water, and the tiny figures scattered along the shoreline giving a sense of life without disturbing the peacefulness of the scene.
For me, this painting isn't simply a view of Dunsborough. It's a little portrait of what it feels like to live here - the beauty found in an ordinary morning, in a familiar place that somehow never stops being worth noticing.
About This Place
At the end of the main street of Dunsborough lies Dunn Bay, part of the gently curving shoreline of Geographe Bay in Western Australia. Calm, shallow waters make it a favourite place for swimming, sailing, walking and simply sitting by the sea.
Dunn Bay Morning captures the foreshore on a beautifully clear day, with colourful sailing boats resting on the sand and people enjoying the water beyond - a familiar scene of everyday coastal life in Dunsborough.

Canvas Frame Size
Float frames add approximately 2.7 cm to both the height and width of the selected print size and are approximately 5.5 cm deep.

Where a print is part of a Limited Edition, the certificate will also include its individual edition number (for example, 1 of 30).
Each print is personally signed by Heidi Emma. Paper prints are signed on the front in the lower corner, while canvas prints are signed on the back.

Rolled paper and canvas prints are carefully protected and shipped in sturdy mailing tubes for safe delivery.
Framed canvas prints are professionally packed and boxed for secure delivery, ready to hang on arrival.
Please provide a delivery address where someone is available during business hours, along with a valid mobile number, as the courier may need to contact you regarding delivery.
Please allow time for your print to be professionally produced before dispatch. As each print is made to order, production and delivery times may vary depending on your order and location.
International orders are very welcome. Rolled prints can be shipped internationally, with shipping calculated at checkout. For framed canvas orders outside Australia, please contact Heidi before purchasing for a shipping quote.
Ordering more than one print? Where prints can be safely packaged together, any excess shipping charged at checkout will be refunded once your order is confirmed.

To ensure your print lasts for generations, display it away from direct sunlight and areas of high humidity. Handle the paper with clean, dry hands or have it framed soon after arrival for the best protection.
Stretched canvases come sealed for protection. If wiping to dust, please do gently with a clean microfibre cloth. -
Every print is made to order especially for you. If your order arrives damaged or there is a problem with your print, please contact me within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the damage so I can arrange a replacement or suitable solution.
