From My Easel
The title of this painting is really a question.
In a world that encourages us to hurry, I often wonder how much beauty we walk straight past. Some of the most meaningful moments I've experienced have come from simply slowing down long enough to notice the way light falls across a table, catches the curve of a favourite vessel or illuminates the delicate form of a native flower.
I'm continually captivated by the way light transforms both ordinary and extraordinary subjects. It has a remarkable ability to reveal beauty that was there all along—we simply need to pause long enough to see it.
Did You Stop to Notice? is an invitation to do exactly that. To linger a little longer, to appreciate the everyday, and to discover that sometimes the simplest moments are the ones that stay with us the longest.
About This Composition
Did You Stop to Notice? features Protea flowers thoughtfully arranged in a collection of timeless vessels lovingly created by Stephanie Stokes. Painted in Heidi Emma's signature tonal impressionist style, beautiful natural light, earthy textures and a restrained palette create a peaceful still life that celebrates the quiet beauty of everyday life.

Each print is personally signed by Heidi Emma. Paper prints are signed on the front in the lower corner, while canvas prints are signed on the back.

Small unframed paper prints are carefully packaged in rigid protective mailers to keep them flat during transit.
Larger unframed paper prints and canvas prints are rolled and shipped in sturdy mailing tubes for safe delivery.
Framed prints and stretched canvas prints require specialised packaging and are shipped via trusted art couriers or professional carriers to ensure they arrive safely.
Please allow approximately 7–10 business days for production before dispatch. Delivery times will vary depending on your location.

To ensure your print lasts for generations, display it away from direct sunlight and areas of high humidity. Handle the paper with clean, dry hands or have it framed soon after arrival for the best protection.
Stretched canvases come sealed for protection. If wiping to dust, please do gently with a clean microfibre cloth. -
Every print is made to order especially for you. If your order arrives damaged or there is a problem with your print, please contact me within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the damage so I can arrange a replacement or suitable solution.
