A little piece of the Australian landscape, made for growing something new.
Handmade in my Dunsborough studio, this ceramic propagation rest features the delicate impression of kangaroo paw, pressed into the clay before being finished in my soft white sands glaze. Each imprint and glaze develops a little differently in the kiln, making every piece beautifully individual.
Designed to rest over the opening of a glass, jar or favourite vessel, the holes gently support plant cuttings while their roots grow in the water below — creating a simple propagation station for a windowsill, kitchen or shelf.
Simply add water to your vessel, place your propagation rest on top and thread your cuttings through the openings.

Each piece is individually handmade and botanically imprinted, so variations in shape, glaze and markings are part of its character.
