Early Morning

Early Morning was inspired by an early morning spent sitting at Big Rock, a special lookout tucked away in the bushland near Dunsborough.

From up here, the landscape seems to open out beneath you. Across the rocks and native bush, the view stretches over the Dunsborough flats and farmland towards the distant waters of Geographe Bay.

I was drawn to the stillness of that particular morning - the soft light just beginning to warm the rocks and grasses, and the layers of muted colour disappearing into the distance. There is something about being somewhere high and quiet early in the day that makes you stop and simply take it all in.

In this painting I wanted to capture not only the view, but that feeling of sitting there for a while: looking out over a familiar landscape before the day really begins.

All original artworks are packaged with great care to ensure they arrive safely.

Due to the materiality and scale of the works, original paintings are shipped as finished artworks and are not available rolled.

Local collection is available from Dunsborough, with delivery also available within the Margaret River Region.

Perth metropolitan delivery is available via specialist art courier for $100.

Regional WA and interstate shipping is available, with tracking and insurance. As costs vary depending on the size and destination of the artwork, shipping will be quoted and invoiced separately after purchase.

Framed works are professionally finished in either a natural Tasmanian oak float frame or an Italian narrow shadow-line box frame, as shown.

Unframed works have finished edges, with the painting continuing around the sides.
