This painting features flowers in a beautifully handcrafted vase, next to another hand crafted ceramic dish belonging to my friend. It pays homage to the style of an earlier work of mine, Daisy Love.

It is part of the "Petals and Vessels" series. The works in this collection celebrate the simple beauty of flowers and foliage coupled with the way that light dances on ceramic, glass and enamel surfaces. Painted in a time in our history when we are forced to slow and consider the beauty of the ordinary and the every day; to be thankful for the little details in life, and to remember the bigger picture.
