The Other Side of the Moon, Cape Naturaliste

from $110.00

This fine art print is based on an original oil painting of Cape Naturaliste in Western Australia, a place known for its dramatic coastline and expansive ocean views.

“Other Side of the Moon” reflects a more contemplative perspective—capturing the subtle shifts in tone, light, and atmosphere that occur in quieter moments along the coast.

There is a sense of distance and stillness in this work, inviting the viewer into a reflective space—where the vastness of land and sea feels both grounding and awe-inspiring.

A striking piece for those drawn to Australian coastal landscapes with depth, mood, and a refined, minimal palette.

This painting was done in honour of that friend in thanks to her for sharing her special place with me.”

The original painting was a commission for a very special family. They asked for the vista that captured the feeling of coming around the bend at Yallingup and seeing what the conditions might be. It was a joy to paint this as I was given the freedom to choose the composition, season, time of day and swell conditions. I hope it makes you feel that sense of elation as this view is different each day.
